"You ROCK!" SIWS Challenge #70

It's the third Monday of the month, and time for Paper Playtime's "Say it with Sentiments" Challenge "For the Guys" and add a sentiment! I used my very first Cricut cartridge, "George and Basic Shapes", and Cardz TV Stamps "Ticket Talk" and "It's a Guy Thing", to create this super simple, super quick masculine card.

Be sure to go by www.paperplaytime.blogspot.com to see what all my Design Team sisters have created for the "Say it with Sentiments" Masculine Card Challenge...then take the challenge yourself! You could be the WINNER of a $15 gift certificate to Crop Stop!

Thanks for spending some time with me today! Have an awesome week!

Hugs,

  4. Mary, I LOVE this card! Perfect inspiration for those tricky masculine cards I have so much trouble with. SO glad I found your site....only been a few days but I've already been amazed by your creativity and talent again and again. Thank you for sharing your creations with us!

Just to let you know, the link you posted for paperplaytime didn't work for me. Took me to a site called scissorcrafts.com. I was able to find the site you were referring to you by using the link to paper playtime you posted at the beginning of your entry. Again, thanks for sharing your talent with the world!

  8. I haven't touched my George cartridge in ages. I really like this card Mary. Yep, the stripes remind me of one of my husbands old ties also.

  10. Hi Mary, I just love your masculine card. I have the hardest time making cards for men which is terrible since I have a hubby and 3 brothers that I wind up buying cards for instead of making.

Can I please make a suggestion. Can you put a picture of your card near the video. So often I want to duplicate a card that you made but I forget what it looks like. If you had a picture I could print it out and write the dimensions on the back so when I get around to making the card I'll remember what it looks like instead of having to find the video and watch it again. I'm sure lots of other people would love you to do this too. I love your creations.
