  22. Mary, I love this card. I have been making Tri-Shutter cards for years now but tend to stay away from them because of all the layering. I become very frustrated because a lot of the layers do not come out right.I thought perhaps it might be my trimmer so I purchased a new one just to find out that I am having the same problem with it. It's really strange because I line the paper up evenly. I am working on making this card but I feel like throwing it in the trash. Any helpful hints for me? Or am I just too much of a perfectionist? Your comments are welcome my friend.Oh by the way,I've been waiting to see your Coffee and Cards episode showing what I sent you. Haven't seen it yet and that's been about a year ago. Did I miss it somehow? Well enough for now...Hugs and God bless you! Carol carolwatsonscreations.blogspot.com

    1. Hi Carol,
Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Tri-shutter card. Other than measuring and, lining up your mats evenly, which I'm sure you've done, I don't know of any other tips to give you. I'll bet you're just being too hard on yourself, and your card is great! I know you're a wonderful paper crafter! I'm sorry I haven't been able to do a Coffee and Cards episode in a year or longer. I removed my address from the sidebar, as so many wonderful paper crafters were sending so many beautiful cards and gifts, that time-wise, it was impossible for me to get them all in videos, and do justice to the time and love that they had put in their creations. I hope I'll be able to start the Coffee and Cards episodes again sometime in the future, and your lovely gifts will be featured in the first video. Please know how much I appreciated receiving them, and you, for taking the time to make them.
Hugs & Blessings to you, Carol!

  23. Hi Mary, Once again you have outdone yourself. You make things look so easy and you are such a perfectionist (just like myself). I plan on trying this card with hopes it turns out. Thanks so much for sharing it with all of us.

    Keep on crafting!!
