CHOCOLATE CHIP BANANA BREAD ~ SIMPLE COOKING WITH MARY

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

 2 very ripe bananas

 1 box Jiffy yellow cake mix

 3/4 - 1 cup chocolate chips

 1 beaten egg

 Peel & mash bananas, then mix with beaten egg. Combine with cake mix, stirring well. Fold in chocolate chips. Pour into well greased loaf pan, and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 40-45 minutes. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then finish cooling on wire rack. ENJOY!

SUNDAY SHARE ~ APPLE TAG & JAR LID

Hello my crafty friends! Today I'll be making a tag and jar lid to go on my apple butter that Wayne and I made last week. I think a cute, decorated jar of apple butter will make a nice gift for my sweet neighbor, who brought Wayne and I some homemade blueberry tarts and muffins...they were so good! "BACK TO SCHOOL" ~ SILHOUETTE MONDAY

Hi guys! Welcome to Silhouette Monday! Every Monday, I'll be using my Silhouette Cameo to create cards, and crafts. I know...it's not Monday, it's Tuesday! Sorry about that...Monday was so busy, that I couldn't get a minute to make and upload this video! Today I've created a quick little card for "Back to School". I used the Silhouette Print and Cut feature, and Cardz TV Stamps "School Days" for the card sentiment. If you don't have a Silhouette cutter, you can check out www.mycutsearch.com, to find out which Cricut cartridges have similar images.

MAKING APPLE BUTTER ~ SIMPLE COOKING WITH MARY

Apple Butter (Makes 4 Pints) 

6 Lbs Apples ~ 2 Cups Water  

3 Cups Sugar ~ 2 Cups Splenda  

2 tsp Cinnamon ~ 1/2 tsp Cloves  

2 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice   

Wash well, and add whole apples and water to pressure cooker and pressure on high for 15 minutes, following manufacturer's instructions. Press apples through colander, or sieve to remove core, seeds, and peel. Combine apples, spices, sugar, and Splenda. Pour into a 9" x 13" glass baking dish, and bake at 300 degrees for approximately 2 hours, until thickened, stirring every 20 minutes.  Ladle into jars, and seal in a water bath for 10 minutes. ENJOY!

CARDZ TV GO-TO GALZ LINKY PARTY #1 "SEW MUCH FUN"

Hi everyone! We’re back from our Summer vacation with some new, fun challenges, linky parties, and a new name!

  We’ve divided our large Cardz TV Design Team into 2 smaller teams, and we’re now Cardz TV Challenge Go-To Galz, and Cardz TV Linky Party Go-To Galz! We’ll be rotating every other week, so each week on Cardz TV, you’ll have a chance to enter our challenge, or link up to our linky party!
