I love fried green tomatoes! Being from the South, I have eaten them all my life. I love them made with cornmeal, I think it really brings out the flavor of the green tomato. Love fried okra too. Pam scrap-n-sewgranny.blogspot.com

Hi Mary, My Dad was from Paducah Kentucky. I never got the chance to visit there so I very much enjoyed riding with you and Wayne in your part of the state to get green tomatoes. I grew up on a lot of southern cooking including fried green tomatoes.
Love those nails Mary!! I need to get some of those to practice on my granddaughter before I put on the Jamberry's that I bought her. Wayne, I'm sorry, I don't like fried green tomatoes. But those peas with the relish on top looks really good. I'd have to leave off the ketchup though. I subscribed to your youtube channel so I can see what else who have to share with us!! :)
Really enjoy your blogs and your husbands fried green tomatoes recipe. I look forward to more blogs and I would love for you to do a video on you Mexican relish receipe it sure looked good. Kelly
Mary and Wayne, I can't wait to try these! I have never made them but they sure look yummy. I've been watching my diet lately due to insulin resistance and trying to get in more veggies. This one is a keeper!
Loved your video and the "ride along". Wayne made me so hungry for green tomatoes that I'm on the search for them. Probably impossible around here this time of year but I'm gonna try!
I remember my grandmother making green fried tomatoes. That was such a long time ago. Thanks for the memory.
