"WELCOME HOME!" STEP CARD ~ SILHOUETTE MONDAY

Hello my crafty friends! Welcome to Silhouette Monday! Every Monday, I'll be using my Silhouette Cameo to create cards, and crafts, and today I've got a fun, quick and easy card for you. I used Cardz TV Stamps "Simply Said" for the card sentiment. If you don't have a Silhouette Cameo, you can check out www.mycutsearch.com over on the sidebar, to find out which Cricut cartridges have similiar images. My friend, Catherine pointed out there's an "oopsy" in the score and fold measurements I've posted in the video. Score the cardstock base at 2 1/4", 4 1/2", 6", 7 1/2" & 8 1/2". Thanks Catherine

Thanks for watching!

Hugs,

  1. What an adorable card. Gosh you do cards truly like non other and it amazes me what you do with the cuts you find. You really know how to put them together is amazing fashion. I do like your choice of where you put the cloud. I really love your embossing on the house just ever so perfect. The embossing on the tree was a great idea too.
Congrats to your daughter on her new home and may her new digs be filled with lots of blessing and cherished memories.

  4. I feel like such a dummy now - this is one of the first patterns I bought when I got my Cameo, and I've made the card 3 times now, and ne er once did I realize that was supposed to be A CLOUD!! LOL!!! I thought it was a bush, so I cut it out of green and stamped my sentiment on it and put next to the house on the middle layer (when the card was sitting up, they could see the sentiment), and put all three trees on the back layer with little bird brads in them . Oh, well... now that I know it is supposed to be a cloud, maybe I'll make it differently the next time - duh - LOL!!
As always, you do such wonderful work!

    blessings,
    Dianna

  8. I hope I am not stepping on your toes or anything like that but I tried to make the card and fold it where you said to and it came out wrong. The fold needs to be at 4.5 inches not 4 inches. Sorry

  9. Mary this is the cutest step card I have seen yet! WOW you did a fantastic job on this. Especially all the tiny detail you put into this from the shingles on the roof to the stone on the house and even the trees! Love this and tell your daughter that I said congratulations on her new home!
