Cute card. You're certainly warming up for Hallowe'en. I also have a question about printing your sentiments. I see that you printed your words and then it looks like you cut it on the Cricut. How do you line up your words when you cut things out? I'd love to know the trick. Any thoughts or comments?
Hi Barb, As shown in the video, this sentiment was cut with an EK Success Tag punch. There is a feature on the Cricut called Centerpoint that allows you to cut shapes around your sentiment. I've used it a few time, and it does take a little practice. If you'd like to cut sentiments from your computer with your trimmer, there's a video from a few days ago that shows how to line your sentiment up and cut it straight. Just scroll down. Thanks for watching, and have a great weekend! Hugs, Mary
Mary, You are not going to believe this. I did a card this week so similar to this except for the orange paper punch and the ribbon. I had some scrap black dot paper which is not that big. I cut the witches out about 2 weeks ago and it is even a card that opens the same way. I cannot believe this...........
Mary, I love this card. I have no imagination, so I look to others for examples. (lol) You are now bookmarked and I look forward to your videos. So, I saw this one and decided I must have this Cricut Lite Cartridge, but I can't find it at any local Wal-Mart or Wal-mart.com. I am in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area and if anyone reading the comments knows where I can find a cartridge - please let me know.
Many thanks and looking forward to more wonderful videos!
I love it...may I copy? Well it won't be a true copy as I don't have all of the same paper/ribbon etc. I am just not coming up with many card ideas - so watching you sure does help. Like you I check out other blogs, magazine etc to help. Maybe warm milk with help Sophie sleep (smile). Thanks Mary..hugs, Marcie
Mary that little card is just so cute ... I love simple cards that look like they take a lot of time but don't ... This is one of those & it looks amazing ...You make me want to run right out & buy every cartridge you use. You are one very talented lady ... Hugs, Janie
Soooo cute!! I love this cart!! I've made Christmas cards from it for Operation Write Home but not any Halloween cards. Will have to see about doing some for the Grands. Hope Sophie gets some sleep tonight so you can too!! :)
