Digital Delights Sunday - Holiday Cookbook
Hi guys,
Welcome to Digital Delights Sunday! Today, I'll be showing you a project that I've been working on, using the Gingerbread Holiday set. Little Ginger is so cute! I've used the pre-colored digital stamps on my holiday cookbook album...they are such a time saver! The inside of my cookbook album is yet to be embellished, but as you can see from the above photo, the front cover is finished. I used the faux chipboard technique on the title, as well as, Baker Ginger. I had such a good time putting this together! I'll be making 2 more, one for my son and one for my daughter, so they can pass down these family holiday recipes. Stayed tuned for Part 2, where I'll show you the cutting and construction of the cookbook album. Thanks so much for coming by today, and thanks for watching Cardz TV!
Have a wonderful day!
Hugs,
Mary

Mary, this came out so super cute. I love the digi stamps. Your children will love to get this gift. If you have any photos of you and the children cooking together, you could take them and slip them behind the recipes. That would be so sweet.

Great project Mary. I love digi stamps! I made recipe boooks for my family last year and used the 4X6" photo books. Yours is sooooooo much cuter!
ReplyDeleteLove it Mary! Love the removable recipe card idea (wink wink) lol! I've gotten 4 recipe albums done now - one for big sis, and 3 for me, and still have recipes to find a place for, so I'm starting on #5! Yours is sooo much cuter! Thanks for sharing!

What a cute recipe book and great gift. You did a beautiful job. I love the paper you used. Who is it by? Thank you so much for sharing. Hugs, Mary
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea. Sooo cute!. Love the papers. The recipes you mentioned sound yummy. Care to share with your viewers?? :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
Your recipe album is adorable! I will be making a couple of these for gifts this year, for sure!
ReplyDeleteOne think I do whenever using the digital stamps is after I print the image I take a black Sharpie marker and draw a wider outline around the image. Then when I cut them out, it gives me a little "cheat space" so that the white cardstock doesn't show if I don't cut exactly on the edge of the printed image.
Thanks for sharing the recipe book idea with us!
Mary I love the way you made the pockets so that the cards can be taken out. That is a great idea.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Mary!!! I absolutely love it!!! TFS! :)
ReplyDeleteMary I love this. I am making cookbooks for my kids for Christmas as times right now are a little hard. I love yours so much think I am going to try this one, I have FMK cartridge and will use that and maybe some punch art for some of my pages.
