Good mornin' Mary. This is a really pretty Christmas card. I see lots of possibilities with this card layout, but I really, really love the tree and bow on this one. I can't wait to try it out. You have a good day today. Hugs, Sue
Mary cute card. I have the same paper stack and love it. Did you know you can resticky your mat? I usually scrub mine and let it dry overnight then use the wide chisel tip zig two way glue pen and apply the glue and let it dry for several hours or over night. You do have to be a little careful to not overdue with the glue or you end up with a super sticky mat. I have been using the same mat for more than a year now by doing this.
I agree with Deanna. I have used the zig 2 way to make my mat resticky. It works great. I found a large chisel tip (it's about an inch wide). I didn't scrub my mat 1st. It still worked great. With the large tip it didn't take to long to cover the mat and I have enough left in the glue pen to use and do my mat again. love you videos and check your blog often.
Love your card and the 12 days of Christmas series. This card is fantastic and I have ordered the paper pack and can't wait until I get it so I can start making these cards... Thanks for all your ideas....
Hi Mary!!! I love this card...you are right the papers do have a country feel to them. The other posters are correct about re-sticking your mat. I have reused my so much that I finally had to toss them because they were so warped. I also want to let you know that I too HATE a new mat...It's WAY too sticky. I did come across a couple of tips that have helped a ton. 1st. Use your clean hands and play "pat-a-cake" with your mat about 20-50 times. The natural oils on your palms help lessen the stick. Also you can get a clean white t-shirt and dab all over your mat a few time. The "micro" bits of lit also help lessen the stick just enough. I sure hope this helps you as much as it has helped me.
Such a pretty card Mary. The papers are beautiful. I've reused my mats until they warp by the methods of the above readers. Try it, all of their suggestions work great. Being thrifty pays off! Mary Ann Huntington
