Very elegant looking card, Mary. I like that you pierced the scalloped edge and you're right - it gives it a lacey look. Lovely papers. I like using papers in a paper pack as they always co-ordinate well.
Mary, enjoy your videos. When I started using my ATG gun, I also had issues with ending the tape. I found out that if you release the trigger before you get to the stoping point, the tape will end where you want it too. On background paper, I just make a continous line around the paper. Keep up the great work.
Beautiful cards! I absolutely love that paisley paper. :)I'll definitely have to take a look at this paper pack the next time i'm at Wal-mart. TFS and have a great day. :)
Hi Mary!!! I agree with Debra...Release the trigger "just before" you stop...I always pause just for a moment and mentally think of the motions it would take to make a "check mark"...slightly down and up...I do the same for the hot glue gun. I think the "trick" is in the down motion just before you lift. Hope that helps, Valerie
It's a simple card but it's a lovely card, Mary. And btw: yes, I have had the ATG for a while and my tape tends to run hari-kari. I guess it takes more practice. I also am having a problem with my tape moving off the dispensing roller. It's manageable. Thank you again, Mary
Thanks for showing that. I am new and I like to see how people make items. I think its really nice and I didnt realize about the paper piercer. Thanks for sharing. smiles, Kim http://agypsyangel.blogspot.com
Love the colors you put together. Every time you make a card I have to dash to Wal Mart to buy that pack of paper! Yes, I have trouble stopping my ATG at the end no matter what I do. Mary Ann
